I would say happy new year but I’ve decided to no longer celebrate the new year in the middle of winter, as I will be following the natural cycles of the seasons. Many people are not motivated during this time because your body is indicating to you to rest, the animals are hibernating and nature is dead during the winter. I will be doing a very informative post in March about the history of the Gregorian calendar, which is the calendar we follow and why January 1st is the fake new year. The real New Year is in March, during the Spring Equinox and the start of the Aries season. Spring Equinox is when everything comes alive and you will feel the shift in the energy during this time.
